Classic Man Jidenna Talks African Culture And Sampling Eddy Kenzo’s music

This was one of Eddy Kenzo’s talking points as he seemed to be dissing other artistes for failing to achieve half of what he has achieved globally.

Just last week at the easily forgetable Uganda Entertainment Awards (UAE) as he was declering all he has won, he noted that he was on the new  song of Jidenna but no one  was willing to believe.

Much as it’s known that Kenzo has had his global success, there were many people that believed that his links to the Classic Man Jidenna were far fetched, we however confirm that in an interview with Kanya’s Adelle Onyango of Kiss FM, he confirmed sampling little parts of Kenzo’s Sitya Loss.

The Nigerian born – American star notes that he  got in touch with Ugandan BET award winner  and asked to sample bits and pieces of  Sitya Loss in his new single Little Bit More.

Little Bit More, the latest outing by the artiste has a very vivid influence from West Africa though seems to emulate Drake especially with a cocktail of genres.

Not exactly memorable as his debut Classic Man, Little Bit More, will still get a fan base dance but not really stay with us for long.

in the interview, Jidenna revealed that he indeed listens to many African acts like South Africa’s AKA, Oliver Mtukudzi, Tiwa Savage and lots of Afrobeat.
